ludovico einaudi – i giorni

From my knowledge of Italian, “giorno” translates to “day”. Thus, “I Giorni” translates to “The Days”. This song and album namesake is composed and played by Ludovico Einaudi, one of the greatest New Age Classical pianists of all time. It’s a light yet haunting song that lingers with you. It was apparently inspired by a 12th century Mali folk song about a hippo.

Anyway, enjoy what I believe to be one of the best songs of all time.
